Anne, Stewart's life partner for 32 years, died of secondary cancer on the 24 July 2001 in St Rocco's Hospice, Warrington.

Stewart started to "talk" to Anne when visiting the Balearic island of  Formentera where he scattered her ashes from this rock, which he went on to call "Anne's Rock".

The "conversations" eventually became a Radio Play, Anne's Story: Saying Goodbye which is available as a double CD (5 x 15 minute episodes). Parts 1 and 5 are below, if you click on the link.
